Industrial pulse counters are display instruments that allow you to measure counts, therefore the incoming pulses, and display the result in the output when the set value is reached.

The applications in various industrial sectors are many: the 4, 5, 6 digit industrial pulse counters produced by Mect are used for example for counting via bidirectional incremental encoders, but not only. They are programmable pulse counters, meaning it is possible to set different preset values and use them, depending on the model, as monodirectional totalizers, revolution counters, frequency meters, as clocks for producing the time, as timers that count seconds. The available programming is different depending on the mode in which the industrial pulse counter is used and the purpose for which it is intended. The counts can be in additional mode, UP, meaning towards increasing numbers, or subtractive, DOWN, downwards until reaching zero.

The dual display models allow you to have both a count and a set point or a total count. The counter data can be stored at shutdown, thanks to a non-volatile EEPROM type memory and there are different types of alarms to program: window, threshold, threshold with count block, automatic for up count, automatic for count, manual, manual on request. All can be done via convenient accessible keys.
